Proposal and Strategy Development Manager

As Proposal and Strategy Development Manager, you will contribute to the success of Clinical and Strategy Development department activities through the management and production of proposals and contracts for new and existing customers. You will work within agreed timelines and cooperate with other departments. This position can be office-based or home-based


  • Preparing full RFP and ensuring RFP timelines are met by all involved team members in a timely manner
  • Prepare and follow through on bids for new business;
  • Preparing budget proposals along with other team members based on the RFP specifications, obtaining feedback from relevant departments if needed.
  • Writing strategic proposals that meet clients' requirements
  • Working on and executing agreed company development strategy
  • Preparing Clinscience vendor RFPs, obtaining and negotiating vendor quotes
  • Support other departments if needed in budgeting and monthly invoicing
  • Contract and change order management in cooperation with other team members


  • A minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited University or college
  • Proven track record of proposal win rates
  • Flexibility and creativity in responding to potential clients
  • Analytical and writing skills
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments under deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Experience managing full-service clinical trial proposals at a CRO
  • Previous proven experience in the conduct of clinical research and/or contract management/pricing
